Iowa State Students Study in Ghent

Graduate students enrolled in the Biorenewable Resources and Technology graduate program at Iowa State University and Iowa State professors recently traveled to Ghent, Belgium, for a two-week intensive program in biorenewables. The BRT students joined students from the United States and Europe and studied the sustainable productions of biobased products. ISU professors were asked to teach lectures for the program. "This year's program in Ghent was outstanding. Our students learned a great deal during the time they were in Belgium," Professor of Food Science and Human Nutrition Lawrence Johnson said.
